Dear EESTECers,
Due to the generational change at our local committee and the great change which our society is living, this year we decided to change our minds and focus on something that is closer to us: the SOCIETY. But nowadays everything is global, we all are interconnected with everything, so our society lives and works in NETWORKS.
For all these reasons, we have created NETWORK SOCIETY, a new kind of event for us during which, through conferences, seminars and visits to laboratories and research centers, we will try to offer you a wide overview of what is being done in this fields and how our global society is growing up through the network.
This amazing project will be held in Madrid from 3th April 2011 to 10th April 2011.
Okay, okay, that all sounds very nice and interesting, but what about the party? WE WANT PARTY!
Don’t worry, as we always say: Madrid NEVER sleeps.
So, during the whole week you’ll have a lot of chances to feel Madrid’s party and lifestyle, visit some of the landmarks of our city and participate in the traditional CityRally. And if that were not enough, during the weekend you will have the oportunity to enjoy some time out the city, practicing some sports and having crazy parties in the countryside!
Besides, this year we have talked to a psychic who has confirmed that no other Eyjafjallajökull will wake up during our event. Now, what are you waiting for? Apply for the event ASAP, the deadline is 2nd February 2011! :)
