Apraksts:After the great success last year’s WiE, we are proud to announce that we and our Gender Studies department (Gender Zentrum) are working together to make it happen again this year.
The academic part of the workshop will cover the same topics as last year (difficulties and barriers for women in engineering jobs, women’s networks as well as job- and life-planning), but these topics will be approached from a different angle this year, so, even if you participated last year, it might be worth it to apply again.
Furthermore, there will be a women’s contact forum during which you’ll have the opportunity to interact and exchange experiences with other women working in engineering jobs.
Apart from the lectures, we’ll of course be showing you the city of Munich, it’s nightlife and cultural aspects.
The workshop will conclude with the International Motivation Weekend. This event will be held at a house in Austria (near Salzburg) with a great view.
Here you’ll be participating in soft-skill training and, of course, some unforgettable parties.
