Educational part of this Workshop:
This year workshop (“Chupakraba Electrico”) main theme is “Robotics, a synergy of mechanics, electronics and software”. This includes presentations about robotic arms, mobile robots, submarine robots, flying robots and wind turbines all held by leading experts in these areas. The workshop is organized in co-operation with IEEE (lecturers
are all esteemed members of IEEE) and participation will earn you 1 ECTS point.
About Croatia:
As we all know the best thing about visiting another country is to know it better. Its customs, sights of nature, historical cities and of course people. According to that you’ll see Croatian most beautiful national park Plitvicka jezera (http://www.np-plitvicka-jezera.hr/), beautiful small town Samobor (well known by its famous cakes kremšnite; http://www.samobor.hr/), famous Erdödy Castle in Varaždin town (http://www.dvorci.hr/page.aspx?PageID=887) and of course capital city of Croatia Zagreb.
Social activities of this Workshop:
You will also have a chance to try traditional food and wines during “Croatian evening night” on which you will also learn more about Croatia. Talking about food on one sunny day we’ll treat you with barbecue (the most popular way of food consumption in this area). Also, you’ll have to burn all that consumpted food and alcohol so prepare for some sport activity like rafting or paintball. For those of you who just want to have a pensionary trip – better stay at home because every night will be a party night (of course!?)! We’ll take you out to Zagreb’s most famous clubs and also have some “EESTEC only wild nights” (and we all know how that looks like ;) ).
